The Role:

6sense is looking for a Credit and Collections Analyst to join our growing team. As a Credit and Collections Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving outstanding debts.

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Credit and Collections Analyst. You will be responsible for managing a collections portfolio, including contacting clients with overdue accounts, minimizing bad debt expense, assisting in decreasing DSO, coordinating with internal stakeholders (Sales, Cashapp, Legal etc) about outstanding accounts, and maintaining accurate records of all collection efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This position will report directly to the Associate Manager, Credit and Collections.


What you will do:

  • Prioritize daily collection follow-up and activities for assigned customer portfolio to ensure that collection goals are obtained.
  • Analyze customer balances, payment history and ability to pay to determine collectability of outstanding receivable balances or escalation of payment issues
  • Complete customer reconciliations as necessary in the collections process
  • Document collections efforts with clear and concise notes
  • Strong communication with internal stakeholders regarding customer balances, account risks, and disputes
  • Perform additional accounts receivable responsibilities as requested by leadership
  • Assist in negotiation of payment arrangements and settlements to resolve outstanding balances, when required.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on account status and potential cash flow impact.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments, billing, and account balances.

What you will need:

  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Collections experience required; Credit experience is a plus
  • ERP system experience or equivalent in CRM and/or other application modules highly regarded.
  • Team player – strong customer focus.
  • A quick learner and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker and strong ability to use initiative.
  • Works well within a team environment and brings a positive attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
