We’re looking for a reliable, well-organized Front Desk Receptionist to work directly with our healthcare staff and help us provide first-class care to our patients. You’ll greet people when they come in, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and participate in office teamwork all while building an excellent rapport with our patients. Primary Duties & Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Scheduling appointments

Billing patients & collecting payments

Knowledge of health insurance plans

Answering all phone calls and routing to appropriate personnel

Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data

Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Must have at least one year of experience in a medical office

Must possess outstanding customer service skills and be proficient with answering the phone, scheduling patients, checking insurance eligibility, and receiving patient co-pays/balances

Must have proficient computer skills

Must have experience with EHR Must be professional, a quick learner, and possess solid medical office knowledge Must be detail-oriented and organized

Must be able to prioritize and manage time to efficiently room patients

Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and follow protocol

Ability to accurately document chart notes, fill out orders, perform prior authorizations and referrals, help with medication refills, stock rooms, track inventory

Ability to clean and sterilize instruments and exam rooms

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school or equivalent

Preferred Accredited Certified Medical Assistant
