We are looking for a skilled and organized Medical Assistant/LPN to join our healthcare family. Medical Assistants/LPN will be responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. They often have the following responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet patients and gather contact information and insurance data Responds to incoming patient calls and triages them accordingly, including but not limited to scheduling appointments and referral to urgent care or emergency room. Receives incoming calls from outside facilities and appropriately relays stat results to providers for care coordination Relays diagnostic test results, provider recommendations, and medication changes to patients. Patient rooming- complete any necessary documents for appointments prior to patient arrival, takes vital signs, completes medication, medical, surgical and social history, assists provider with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments including EKG, ear irrigation, breathing treatments Completes orders/schedules for O2, Physical Therapy, Durable Medical Equipment, Home Health, and Infusion Therapy. Completes refill requests for maintenance medications. Take and record patient vitals Administer vaccinations, immunizations and other therapeutic medications Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment, and medications.

Medical Assisting Certificate or Licensed Practical Nurse 1+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital Familiar with medical terminology Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary is dependent upon experience $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Monday - Friday 40 hours per week. Must be available 7am-6pm. One Saturday a month 7:30-12noon.

Bonus Program, including $500 sign on Bonus after 90 days.
