Position: Family Physician

Opening for Family Physician - Summer 2023 (or beyond) We are currently in the process of adding a fifth family doctor our practice, Sound Family Health. We are a rare independent family practice in Poulsbo, WA. We have been in the area for over 20 years.

This opportunity would come with an income guarantee and benefits, as well as the ability to become a partner in the business.

We enjoy the ability to practice medicine in a way that is quickly fading. We each work 4 days a week seeing approximately 20-21 patients per day. Currently, we have a 6 person call cycle. Most of these calls are predominately phone triage. We see the full scope of family medicine with the exception of obstetrics.

The hospital we affiliate with, St. Michael's in Silverdale, has a full hospitalist on staff which provide care for our inpatient's.

We have a straightforward EHR system. InCyte Lab operates a lab draw station on site in our clinic. We also provide a wide variety of CLIA waived tests. Our medical building houses multiple specialists as well as radiology and audiology.

Poulsbo is a 20-minute drive to the Bainbridge Island Ferry and has become a wonderful waterfront community with good schools and reasonable housing costs for the Puget Sound area.
