This pivotal solution will provide a reliable, well-governed, and adaptable service for addressing high-priority data inquiries, serving a wide array of stakeholders and use cases. The solution will deliver a central query layer capable of translating the questions asked of the business, asked in their own terms, into queries Aledade’s systems can answer, and an interface that compartmentalizes the complexity of a large, ever-changing system. The solution will lower the barrier to accessing Aledade’s data, initially by focusing on serving data analytics needs in Aledade’s Medicare Advantage (MA) and Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) lines of business. The role will help build the foundation of Aledade’s continued success in value based care by leveraging cutting edge technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks and employing best practices in data modeling.

Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in SQL and ability to self-serve on routine data analysis needs
  • Foundational knowledge of data modeling patterns and paradigms
  • 5+ years of product management experience in technology, technology-enabled services, or SaaS products
  • 3+ years of experience building data engineering and/or data modeling solutions
  • Expertise in value-based care, Medicare Advantage policy, and plan operations
  • Proficient with healthcare claims and various data sources, such as EHR, event notifications, clinical, and patient-reported data
  • Expertise in value based care and Medicare Advantage policy, plan operations, data, and financial methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with defining success metrics for data models and monitoring performance to identify areas for improvement

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers’ data analytics needs and Medicare Advantage market trends to inform our analytics product strategy.
  • Lead discovery, design and execution of data modeling initiatives for 2-3 data engineering scrum teams
  • Coordinate with data engineering, impact analytics and ingestion teams to build a robust and scalable data model platform using databricks technology.
  • Work closely with the engineering, impact analytics and other teams to ensure that the analytics product requirements are accurately translated into technical designs to ensure that the models are delivered on-time and to the expected level of quality in a format that is easily digestable
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to understand analytical and business needs to monitor, forecast, and explain ACO performance.
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert on data concepts related to medicare lines of business for the company.
  • Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.
Who We Are:
Aledade, a public benefit corporation, exists to empower the most transformational part of our health care landscape - independent primary care. We were founded in 2014, and since then, we've become the largest network of independent primary care in the country - helping practices, health centers and clinics deliver better care to their patients and thrive in value-based care. Additionally, by creating value-based contracts across a wide variety of payers, we aim to flip the script on the traditional fee-for-service model. Our work strengthens continuity of care, aligns incentives, and ensures primary care physicians are paid for what they do best - keeping patients healthy.
