Aledade is on a mission to transform primary health care in the United States to a value-based model that’s patient-centric, proactive, and equitable. We’re hiring a Lead Experience Designer to scale up our ability to support thousands of independent primary care practices and community health centers.
Aledade’s Experience Design & Research (XDR) team is responsible for designing end-to-end product and service experiences for physicians, practice staff, and internal teams. This specific role will bring human-centered design expertise and hands-on product design skill to Aledade’s Operating Model Zone. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to support the effectiveness of Aledade’s field team, and accelerate primary care practices' ability to perform successfully within Aledade ACOs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience and skill in leading, facilitating, & executing complex, iterative design work streams that span digital and non-digital touchpoints with diverse stakeholders of varying degrees of familiarity with design
  • 8+ years of professional experience in product and interaction design – designing and prototyping end-to-end digital experiences with cross-functional teams working in iterative environments
  • Excellent communication skills and proven storytelling ability – can clearly articulate the what, why, and how of their approaches and tailor a message to the audience
  • Fluency and skill with a variety of design related tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, etc.)
  • Qualitative research – has worked alongside researchers or led research, demonstrates understanding of how to effectively apply insights to design solutions
  • Expertise in defining and socializing design strategy – setting an overall vision for the experience of the product/service that effectively balances user needs, business needs, and technical capabilities
  • Experience working in complex and or highly regulated industries such as healthcare
  • Experience designing for internal user audiences

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Partner closely with product management, engineering, practice adoption and others to identify opportunities, shape work initiatives, and build a deep understanding of end user needs
  • Gather, articulate, and visualize key concepts and patterns using storyboards, user journey maps, etc. in order to drive strong cross functional alignment and enable effective decision-making about possible approaches.
  • Deliver user flows, low fidelity prototypes, high fidelity design comps, and build specifications for high quality digital workflows that fit within broader end-to-end service experiences
  • Act as the design lead and day-to-day point of contact for product teams seeking to understand, and build for field team end users
  • Collaborate with other designers & researchers in the Operating Model Zone to elevate human-centered design thinking and operationalize effective design practices
