SANTA BARBARA PRIVATE PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY – OUTPATIENT ADULT PRIMARY CARE

Position: The work is Clinical. Work hours are flexible.

Starting Annual compensation: Full Time is over $330,000 depending on work arrangement; Part Time $200,000

Practice Hours: 8 - 5 weekdays, excluding holidays. The practice is office based without inpatient responsibilities. Inpatient could be done at MD’s discretion. The practice is located 7 blocks from Cottage Hospital. Patients age currently range from teens to geriatric. After hours Call is by phone, average 0 - 3 calls a day.

Office workload: Patients scheduled a sustainable 30 - 60 minutes per visit.

Diverse Payor mix: Fee for Service PPO/Medicare with monthly “Practice Fee”; Managed Care with shared risk; Cash; and ACO.

Stable staff of 7, which includes a Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner who share a full-time position. Staff receives the following: health insurance, flexible spending account, sick leave, paid time off, and a 401k with matching contributions.

Office Location: Downtown Santa Barbara. Office Condo is owned by the practice. 7 blocks from Cottage Hospital, 3 blocks from freeway and 12-minute drive to Goleta Valley Cottage.

• For the new clinician to work full or part time, as an employee, or work to assume ownership of the practice within 5 years.

• I can continue practicing part-time clinical medicine to assist in the assimilation of the new clinician. I am willing to continue as the Managing Partner for up to 5 years.
