The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will own and manage all budget related aspects of Aledade's Cost of Service and Operating Expenses on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year view basis. The Senior Manager will partner directly with company leadership to forecast expenses to ensure Aledade hits our EBITDA targets and cash goals, directly to the company’s KRs. The position will own and manage the analysis of current year expenses for our budget vs. actual process (“BVA”).
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the U.S. or from our headquarters office in Bethesda, MD.

Primary Duties:

  • BVA Process - own the end to end management of the monthly budget vs. actual Analysis and reporting, reporting back to Senior Leadership the state of current expense outlook and variance analysis; overseeing 2 FPA team members BVA reporting and deadlines.
  • Headcount Management - holding teams across the company accountable for staying within budgeted expenses related to headcount; liaising directly with the President (Mat Kendall) to ensure the President has accurate P&L impact prior to granting approval for new requisitions.
  • Annual Budget Process - owning / running the annual budget process to include developing and owning the requirements policy for reporting purposes; board & comp committee presentation slides; ensuring all cost center owners are meeting the strict timeframes and adhering to the reporting requirements policy.
  • Hyperion Tool Management - partnering with Netsuite, Accounting, and Finance-line directors to ensure our investment is meeting its goals.
  • FPA Leadership - Holding all team members accountable for meeting required reporting deadlines and consolidating data for monthly, quarterly, and annual leadership report-outs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 10+ years progressive working experience including corporate budgeting, with people manager experience

Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:

  • Experience with variance analysis report-outs
  • Advanced proficiency with financial statement review and analysis
  • Excel/Google Sheets advanced skills
  • Excellent time management and communications
  • PowerPoint/Google Sheets
  • Experience with Netsuite platforms, including Hyperion Netsuite Budget and Planning Tool
  • Personnel/Process management
