Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Success in this role looks like steady client transition from intake to checkout and follow-up with accurate documentation and execution of clinical procedures in accordance to federal and state safety and compliance guidelines

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Preferred)
CCMA Certification or RMA (Required)
Clinical Duties(may include, but not limited to):
- Taking medical histories
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Preparing patients for examination
- Assisting the physician during exams
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Performing in-house CLIA WAIVED laboratory tests
- Instructing patients about medication and special diets
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician
- Transmitting prescription refills as directed
- Drawing blood
- Taking electrocardiograms
- Removing sutures and changing dressings
