Position: Family Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant

We are seeking to fill in an immediate need for an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP/PA) to join our Fredericksburg team. You are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and possesses a strong commitment to organization and enthusiasm. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of medical conditions, as well as providing a wide range of primary and specialty health services. We support our providers with all the admin and other ancillary admin duties leaving the provider to focus on the patient, and not take work home. Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care to a panel of patients.
  • Monitor patient’s progress and follow up.
  • Work within all Federal and State laws and regulations and the supervising/collaborative physician agreement.
  • Notify immediate supervisor of significant problems.
  • Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with team, including physicians, NPs, PAs, Medical Assistants, front desk, scribes and managers.
  • Familiarity with value-based care.
  • Collects and populates data in the HER.

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master in Physician Assistant
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
  • Hold valid and active Virginia license.
  • Current DEA controlled substance license
  • Strong communication skills, and team player
