Responsibilities:

Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
Order and interpret diagnostic tests – in clinic Laboratory, Ultrasound, Xray, EKG, Dexascans
Prescribe medications and promote wellness plans
Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions.
Maintain accurate and timely completion of medical record documentation.

Qualifications:

Valid and unrestricted license as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Master’s degree in Nursing with specialization in Family Practice
1 year experience preferred, not required
Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Athena preferred)
Experience in utilization review
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and member of our healthcare team
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
