About the position

Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Director of Program Management. The Director of Program Management will be a key leader in our organization and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of critical programs and projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable plans and ensure seamless collaboration between various teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program management and a strong background in delivering complex projects.

What you’ll do:

  • Engineering and Product Vision & Strategy
    • Work with cross-functional teams to define project goals, scope and deliverables
    • Create a framework to manage prioritized programs
    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines and budgets while ensuring successful project delivery
    • Ensure proactive identification and response to program and project risks and opportunities
    • Document program/project management methodologies and develop scalable playbook
  • Team Leadership
    • Hire, mentor and develop a team of high-performing program managers
    • Foster a collaborative culture and ensure the successful execution of all programs and projects
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to define program objectives, develop strategic plans, and create roadmaps to achieve business goals
    • Set priorities, obtain commitments, and engage required resources through collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success
  • Cross functional Collaboration
    • Create connections between teams and functional groups to resolve dependencies and project blockers
    • Enable executive visibility to high-level strategic projects, lead bi-weekly or monthly report outs to project sponsors and stakeholders
    • Manage compliance, audibility and implementation of change management practices

What you’ll bring

  • Ten years of product management experience, with five years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering successful B2B/B2C products to market
  • Familiarity with fintech trading solutions for equities, options, mutual funds and fixed income
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Los Angeles, CA salary range
$180,000$226,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs). A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
