About the position

Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Cashiering Team.

What you’ll do

The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of Altruist’s daily treasury operations, including but not limited to reporting daily cash positioning, funds transfers, reconciliation, and bank account management. In addition, the senior analyst will be included in ad-hoc analyses and projects as necessary.

  • Oversee daily cash activities, determine daily cash position, assist with short-term cash forecasting.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to meet monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end management reporting requirements, including support for audit processes.
  • Process external and inter-company wire and cash transfers.
  • Assist in evaluating risk and maintaining compliance with the Company’s treasury policies and internal controls.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to optimize internal processes involving bank services.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of firm accounts, research variances, and reconcile items.
  • Review accounts for adjusted items. Research and correct as needed.
  • Monitor bank accounts for Positive Pay exception items. Research and make decisions as needed.
  • Provide support for check scanning software and hardware.
  • Interact with Advisors to resolve any exceptions related to wire submissions, deposit delays, insufficient funds, and other cash management issues.
  • Other ad hoc projects

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in banking and reconciliation, accounting, treasury, or finance operations experience and/or training required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to transition quickly and execute in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with a strong and proactive work ethic.
  • Attention to detail with proven experience in delivering high levels of accuracy.
  • High degree of initiative and personal responsibility to anticipate issues, find solutions, and drive resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines, internal firm policies, and Compliance/AML requirements and how they pertain to processing.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets knowledge and capability to seamlessly work with large data sets.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 24 are nice to have but not required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Dallas, TX salary range
$80,000$107,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs).
