About the position

Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for an Associate Director, Training & Enablement to join our Customer Service team.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for training and enablement across all customer-facing teams, encompassing Sales, Onboarding, Support, Advisor Operations, Clearing Operations, and eventually Relationship Management.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive curricula tailored to the specific needs of each team
  • Lead the creation of robust onboarding plans for new hires and ongoing training plans for existing team members, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and product offerings.
  • Centralize and organize information on our shared wiki, establishing best practices for knowledge management.
  • Actively engage in hands-on training development, content creation, and delivery
  • Evolve and enhance our internal Knowledge Base (KB) and customer-facing help center content, identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience and reduce non-value-add, customer inquiries and operational overhead.
  • Implement standards, procedures, and processes to support training programs, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across teams (e.g., training completion, knowledge checks, role playing, and similar)
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and collect feedback to assess the quality and effectiveness of training programs, driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years of experience in enabling and training customer-facing teams, with a proven track record of success.
  • 5+ years of experience independently managing a team of Learning professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and learning evaluation models.
  • Experience delivering live and virtual training with a grasp on facilitation best practices for both.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and collaborative approach, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with key business systems and tools, including Google Apps, LMS, Salesforce, Gainsight, and Confluence.
  • Experience with course authoring tools such as Google Classroom, Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Loom, and Camtasia
  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or fintech industries, with a solid understanding of startup environments.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with the ability to quickly pivot and re-prioritize as needed.
  • Certifications/designations in instructional design, performance consulting, coaching, eLearning design, or other relevant training certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with the independent wealth management industry (e.g., RIAs) is a plus.
  • Flexibility to visit our Culver City or Dallas headquarters as well as other locations as required by business needs.
Dallas, TX salary range
$124,000$170,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs). A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
