About the position
Altruist is entering an exciting new phase and we're looking for an Advisor Operations Associate to join our Advisor Operations Team. The Advisor Operations Associate will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert in one or more areas including, but not limited to, asset transfers, cashiering and treasury, new accounts, retirements, resolutions, tax and cost basis. The Advisor Operations Associate will play a fundamental role with respect to supporting the timely completion of day-to-day business activities, scaling and streamlining new and current processes, providing tailored guidance, and serving as an SME for their area(s) of responsibility.
What you’ll do
- Operate in a cross-functional and flexible capacity serving various processes as needed.
- Learn and comprehend each team’s prescribed policies and procedures in order to provide timely and accurate processing of advisor requests.
- Often switch between autonomous and collaborative tasks across the various Advisor Operations teams.
- Collaborate and engage cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Clearing Operations, and Customer Support to ensure our customers have a delightful experience.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of experience in operations with experience in one or more of the following: new accounts, asset transfers, cashiering and treasury, and retirement functions.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to transition quickly and execute in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with a strong and proactive work ethic.
- Attention to detail with proven experience in delivering high levels of accuracy.
- High degree of initiative and personal responsibility to anticipate issues, find solutions, and drive resolution.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets knowledge and capability to seamlessly work with large data sets.
- FINRA Series 7 and 24 are nice to have but not required.
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Advisor Operations Level 2 base salary range
Advisor Operations Level 3 base salary range

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs).
