The opportunity
Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we’re excited to hire an Internal Sales Manager to join our Client Development team. You will lead a team of sales representatives towards achieving revenue goals by overseeing day-to-day sales operations, managing pipeline activity, and providing coaching to ensure your team is successful. This role requires a strong focus on assessing and optimizing our sales processes, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.
Your impact
- Consistently demonstrate sales competencies and lead team to hit quota
- Create realistic forecasts for assigned territory based on historical data, current pipeline, and market conditions
- Design, implement, and continuously improve on strategy and processes to support predictable and scalable growth
- Manage team effectively, foster employee engagement, and provide ongoing, data-driven coaching and feedback
- Systematically capture advisor feedback to help inform company priorities (e.g., product roadmap, marketing campaigns)
- Contribute to the sales team’s goal of creating predictable, scalable growth by proactively identifying ways to make the team better, meeting sales SLAs, and consistently maintaining accurate and complete records in Salesforce
- Demonstrate coachability and growth mindset; absorb and apply feedback to increase effectiveness and efficiency
What you bring
- Experience - 5+ years of experience managing a sales team at a B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS organization with 10+ years of overall business development experience
- Proven track record of enabling individual sellers to hit or exceed quotas
- Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (i.e., Salesforce, Google Drive, etc.)
- Ownership - The pride you put into every aspect of your work is unparalleled and undeniable

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs). A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
