The opportunity
We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to partner directly with our CEO as we scale into our next phase of growth. This role sits at the center of the company’s most important priorities, driving clarity, accountability, and execution across the business. Exceptional project management and organizational skills are key to success. You’ll operate as an extension of the CEO, helping translate strategy into action and ensuring the right problems are being solved at the right time. You should be equally comfortable building a financial model, structuring an ambiguous problem, and standing in front of executives, the board, or the broader company to drive alignment.
This role can be based in our Culver City or San Francisco Bay Area office and requires a minimum of three days per week in-office.
Your impact
- Act as a force multiplier for the CEO, extending their reach and driving execution on the company’s highest-priority initiatives
- Lead critical, cross-functional projects, bringing structure to ambiguous problems and driving them through to resolution
- Own the company’s executive operating rhythm, ensuring leadership meetings are focused, decisions are made quickly, and follow-through is consistent
- Partner with leaders across the business to define, pressure-test, and track company KPIs, holding a high bar for performance and accountability
- Partner with Finance to build and refine financial and operational models to support forecasting and strategic decision-making
- Conduct rigorous analyses to inform key decisions across the business, synthesizing insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Identify and close gaps in how the business operates, proactively implementing scalable processes as complexity increases
- Develop high-quality materials for board meetings, investor updates, executive presentations, and company-wide meetings with a high standard for clarity and precision
- Drive internal communication moments (e.g., All Hands) that create alignment, reinforce priorities, and elevate the company’s operating cadence
- Influence outcomes across all levels of the organization, including senior executives
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in top tier management consulting firm and in a Chief of Staff, Business Operations, or similar strategic role at a high-growth tech company
- Exceptional business judgment and a track record of operating as a high-leverage generalist in complex, fast-moving environments
- Strong analytical horsepower, including advanced Excel/gSheets skills and experience building models to inform real business decisions
- Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous problems, structure them clearly, and drive them through to execution with measurable impact
- High agency and a strong bias to action; you don’t wait to be told what to do, and you consistently turn ambiguity into momentum and results
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment in situations where you do not have direct ownership
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear narratives and confidently present to executives, investors, and large audiences
- High standards for quality and attention to detail, paired with strong organizational and project management skills
- Low ego, high ownership mindset with a willingness to step in wherever needed to move the business forward
- Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus
