About Job

The Principal Product Manager at Archetype AI plays a pivotal role in leading the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence products. This individual is responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be accountable for driving innovation, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Core Responsibilities

• Own platform strategy and roadmap, not just backlog execution

• Translate customer and solutions learnings into clear, repeatable platform abstractions

• Drive 0→1 platform capabilities and 1→n scale across deployments

• Partner as a credible peer to senior engineering leadership on architecture, sequencing, and tradeoffs

• Define success metrics for the platform (adoption, time-to-value, deployment friction, leverage)

• Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform integrity and leverage

• Establish product clarity and calm decision-making amid ambiguity and strong opinions

Minimum Qualification

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including platform or infrastructure products

• Strong technical fluency (APIs, systems, abstractions, deployment models, tradeoffs)

• Proven experience owning platform strategy, not just feature delivery

• Track record of working closely with senior engineering leaders as a true partner

• Experience operating in early-stage or fast-scaling companies with ambiguity

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with BYOC, enterprise deployment models, or infra-heavy platforms

• Prior exposure to ML/AI platforms, developer platforms, or data infrastructure

• Experience scaling a product organization or mentoring other PMs

• Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and customer IT constraints
