Description
We are seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with a strong focus on content creation and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to translate complex product capabilities into compelling, insightful, and valuable messaging and content. This role requires a creative thinker who can collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and develop content that transcends traditional PMM boundaries. You will play a critical role in positioning Astrix’s products within the NHI security market and communicating our value proposition to diverse audiences. You will work closely with the product team to articulate messaging and collaborate with sales enablement, demand generation, and field marketing teams to ensure cohesive and impactful market outreach.
About the role
- Content Strategy and Creation: Develop a high-quality, engaging content plan highlighting the NHI problem space and showcasing Astrix's unique solutions. This includes hands-on creation of whitepapers, blog posts, demo videos, solution briefs, and more.
- Product Positioning and Messaging: Research and understand the technical aspects of the product and effectively position its capabilities in the market. Translate complex product features into clear, compelling messaging.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with overall company goals.
- Technical Orientation: Develop a deep understanding of Astrix’s product features to create effective demo videos, technical briefs, and marketing collateral.
- Creative Ideation: Employ out-of-the-box thinking to create unique and impactful marketing content that resonates with target audiences.
- Basic Multimedia Skills: Utilize basic video editing and Figma editing skills to enhance content delivery and support marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in marketing with a strong emphasis on content creation, and at least 3 years as a PMM with a technical focus.
- Cybersecurity Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in a cybersecurity company, including a minimum of 3 years at an early-stage cybersecurity startup.
- Content Creation Skills: Proven ability to create high-quality written and multimedia content. Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to produce informative and insightful material.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to understand complex product features and translate them into clear, market-facing content.
- Creative Mindset: Innovative and outside-the-box thinker capable of developing unique content strategies and solutions.
- Basic Video Editing and Figma Skills: Comfortable with basic video editing and Figma to enhance content delivery and support marketing initiatives when needed.
- Location: Must be based on the East Coast, USA, with a preference for Boston.
