We are seeking an experienced and creative part-time (10-20 hours per week) Marketing Designer to join our team on a 3-month contract and work on our flagship product, Burner. You will be responsible for creating assets that align with Burner’s brand across all marketing surfaces, including paid ads, app stores, website, blog, social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter), and more. If the initial contract period goes well, there is potential for the role to continue beyond 3 months.


  • Work with our marketing team to create promotional materials including app screen layouts, in-app marketing content, social media posts, paid user acquisition ads, emails, and other digital assets
  • Create engaging on-brand designs with a focus on minimalistic illustration, stock-photo-based collage, and motion graphics
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to brainstorm new creative concepts, iterate, and ensure that designs are polished and on time
  • Leverage customer profiles, user feedback, and performance data to test and improve designs over time
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and design best practices to ensure that our designs are unique to our brand and intuitive to users & prospective users
  • Maintain a consistent on-brand visual style across all of our marketing materials including ensuring UGC content resonates with the brand tone
  • Participate in company-wide creative brainstorms to generate new ideas for designs, campaigns, and features
  • Find and manipulate a wide range of stock photography to align to the Burner brand

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Stylish minimalistic creative with a focus on collage, surrealism, and humor
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.
  • Broad creative skillset including illustration, photo collage, and motion
  • Familiarity with design and development processes managed with platforms such as Asana or Notion
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
  • A degree in digital design, graphic design, or a related field is preferred
  • A portfolio of digital design work demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles and a keen eye for detail
This is a remote part time basis for a 3 month contract position requiring about 20 hours per week with the possibility to turn full time.
