Job Description Summary

The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for leading high-impact, cross-functional technology and business initiatives across Mosaic Health. This role manages complex programs involving clinical, operational, financial, and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and enterprise priorities.
The Sr. PM operates with a high degree of autonomy, partners closely with executive and physician leadership, and serves as a key contributor to the maturity and effectiveness of the IT EPMO.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Delivery

  • Lead large-scale, complex IT and business initiatives from initiation through closure.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and delivery teams simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and outcome expectations.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Partner with executive sponsors, clinical leadership, and operational leaders to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and executive updates.
  • Translate technical and operational issues into clear, executive-level communications.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Own project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
  • Manage vendor performance, contracts, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate resource planning across IT, clinical, and business teams.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate enterprise-level risks.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, etc.).
  • Adhere to and reinforce EPMO standards, methodologies, and reporting practices.
  • Support portfolio-level prioritization and sequencing decisions.

EPMO Leadership & Maturity

  • Serve as a role model for project management excellence.
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers and Associate PMs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and governance.
  • Support intake, prioritization, and portfolio reporting activities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7–10+ years of progressive project management experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in healthcare or regulated environments.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday, Asana, ServiceNow PPM, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in healthcare delivery, payer, or value-based care environments.
  • Experience working within an Enterprise PMO or portfolio-based operating model.
