Job Description Summary
The HR Integration Consultant supports the people integration process for newly acquired practices. This role is responsible for executing, coordinating, and delivering onboarding and transition strategies that ensure a seamless employee experience during mergers and acquisitions. With advanced expertise in HR operations and change management, this role serves as the primary HR contact for acquired teams and collaborates cross functionally to ensure readiness, compliance, and cultural alignment.

Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Strategy & Execution
- Support the design and implement onboarding and transition plans tailored to newly acquired practices.
- Serve as the primary HR liaison for incoming employees, providing guidance throughout the integration process.
- Coordinate with IT, Payroll, Compliance, Operations, and other partners to ensure Day 1 readiness and smooth onboarding execution.
- Identify risks or barriers and proactively recommend solutions.
Change Management
- Lead change management activities that support adoption of new organizational policies, cultural norms, structures, and workflows.
- Deliver communications that clearly articulate expectations and support employee understanding during transitions.
- Address employee concerns and provide informed recommendations to leaders to support engagement and retention.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all onboarding and integration processes adhere to federal, state, and organizational compliance requirements.
- Oversee completion of employment documentation, background checks, licensure verification, and credentialing, escalating issues when needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with acquisition teams, HRBPs, practice managers, and leadership to align integration timelines, priorities, and expectations.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, insights, trends, and potential risks.
- Offer subject‑matter guidance on integration best practices.
Continuous Improvement
- Collect and analyze feedback and onboarding data to assess program effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements to enhance process efficiency, employee experience, and integration outcomes.
- Contribute to standardization and scalability of integration tools, playbooks, and workflows.
This role requires occasional overnight travel (approx. 15%) for on-site support, trainings and meetings.

$93,675.00to
$140,513.00
