Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all site manufacturing functions - Production, HSE (Safety), Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Science & Technology - ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production
- Set and execute the site strategy aligned with Novartis manufacturing, supply, and country objectives
- Ensure full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Drive reliable supply performance, cost control, and continuous operational improvement across the site
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing site leadership team and engaged workforce
- Oversee capital projects, delivering on time, within budget, and aligned with long‑term site capability needs
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, speaking up, and patient‑first decision making
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum ten years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including sterile manufacturing operations and at least five years of leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory compliance in a commercial environment
- Strong strategic and enterprise mindset with the ability to translate strategy into operational execution
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence, align, and inspire diverse organizations
Desirable Requirements
- Experience at a Radioligand Therapies commercial manufacturing site.
- Experience leading complex capital projects within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
The salary for this position is expected to range between $160,300 and $297,700 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
