Job Description
About the Role
The Category Initiative Lead is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives across assigned categories by identifying growth opportunities, designing scalable commercial programs, and leading cross-functional execution.
This role works closely with Category Managers, Campaign, Marketing, Product, Seller Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Regional teams to deliver initiatives that accelerate GMV growth, improve customer experience, and strengthen seller ecosystem performance.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.

Job Requirements
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in: E-commerce, Strategy, Consulting, Category Management, Commercial Planning, Business Development, Marketplace Operations. Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives. Experience in project management and stakeholder management.

Technical Skills
Strong analytical capabilities including:
SQL (preferred)
Excel (advanced)
Financial modelling
Business case development
Forecasting
KPI management
