The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing the sales process for our products and services, with a focus on generating quotes, handling renewals, and collaborating with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

What you’ll be doing:

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Generate and follow up on sales quotes for new and existing customers.
  • Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability.
  • Manage and process sales orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio to effectively communicate value to customers.

Renewals Management:

  • Track and manage customer contract renewals.
  • Proactively contact customers to discuss upcoming renewals and secure contract extensions.
  • Prepare and send renewal quotes and follow up to ensure timely renewals.

Collaboration with Accounting:

  • Work closely with the accounting department to ensure accurate invoicing and billing.
  • Assist in resolving any billing or payment issues with customers.
  • Ensure all sales transactions are recorded accurately in the company's CRM and accounting systems.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support for financial audits and reporting.

Sales Administration:

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records in the CRM system.
  • Generate sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline the sales process and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance sales effectiveness.

What does it take to succeed in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a tech related industry.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., QuoteWerks, Salesforce, ConnectWise) and accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
