Position Overview:

As the SDR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling our sales development function. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and excels at both leading a team and actively contributing to sales efforts. The SDR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive lead generation, optimize sales processes, and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales development strategy aligned with company goals.
    • Hire, lead, mentor, and inspire a team of SDRs to achieve individual and team targets.
    • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to optimize team performance and professional growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  2. Sales Development:
    • Personally generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting efforts (calls, emails, social selling, etc.).
    • Follow up on inbound leads to qualify prospects and convert to opportunities.
    • Utilize CRM and sales enablement tools to track progress, analyze data, and optimize sales workflows.
    • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the SDR team and hold team members accountable for results.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
    • Monitor key metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to address them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of success in sales development or inside sales roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management capacity, with a demonstrated ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation techniques, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with prospects and team members.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and achieving targets.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves and lead by example in a startup environment.
