Job Description


The Digital Design Contractor is responsible for developing and deploying effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy front-end creative for website, email communications, email templates, social media graphics, and banner ads. The ideal candidate is experienced in email marketing and web development and ready to jump into everything from building responsive HTML emails and executing campaigns to developing personalized website experiences. You should have familiarity in building and executing campaigns via a Content Management System (CMS) and/or personalization tools. You are innovative, efficient, and highly collaborative with a passion for exceeding goals through iterative learning.

  • Maintain the integrity and quality of digital marketing materials throughout the design and production process.

  • Contribute to the development of a variety of digital marketing assets, supporting brand consistency and strategic goals.

  • Assist in establishing quality standards and processes within the creative and marketing teams.

Your responsibilities and impact will include:

  • Develop cutting-edge, responsive custom templates, modules, web and landing pages, digital graphics, static paid banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates.

  • Maintain best practices for email campaigns and landing pages, and make recommendations for performance optimization.

  • Maintain all aspects of web usability, SEO, content and design, while also working toward enhancing brand content and ensuring site optimization.

  • Manage successful and accurate deployment of all assets to ensure campaign performance and support A/B testing projects.

  • Manage execution of deadlines and maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot and debug collaboratively to resolve coding and trafficking issues.

  • Study design briefs and additional materials to determine requirements.

  • Offer recommendations for best practices and efficiencies in each phase of our projects (strategy, UI/UX, design, and development).

  • Give realistic estimates of work and deliver on those timelines.

  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and address issues as they arise.

  • Monitor ADA compliance and ensure digital designs are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards.

  • Monitor KPI metrics and report on project successes and areas for improvement.

Required skills and experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital design, preferably in a corporate or agency setting; experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

  • Proficiency in designing for web, email, and social media platforms.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Positive, collaborative attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD/Figma.

  • Familiarity with Instapage and Hubspot platforms or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of email HTML code standards and ability to troubleshoot rendering issues in a wide array of configurations.

  • Familiar with A/B testing methodology.

  • This position is remote, but candidates must work on a schedule that aligns with East Coast hours.

Salary Range: $40.00 - $55.00 / hour

Our ranges are purposefully broad to allow for growth within the role over time. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
