Job Description

A bit about this role:

At Devoted we provide excellent clinical care to our members through a unique and collaborative approach. We are looking for a Compliance Operations leader that will be a significant contributor to the overall success of the central clinical function for Devoted Medical. This position will develop, execute, and refine Medical Group integrity operations to identify trends and opportunities, and develop initiatives for continual improvement. You will play a key role in the oversight of legal and compliance operations as well as the quantification of business health.

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Ownership of Policy & Procedure committee

  • Maintain Central business policies: Will be responsible for authoring central/XF policies and sending them to the Director, Practice Operations for approval

  • Ensure operational oversight of compliance obligations as defined by org: Monitoring of state guides and ensuring updates are disseminated out to impacted teams; Coordinator of control documentation for regulatory requirements and other internal policies (ie, ICFR, ERM, Program Documentation, Compliance and Business Resilience Activities; Oversight of Billing and Compliance for Devoted Medical

  • Regulatory Comms Process: Responsible for XF collaboration on implementation plan for actionable bills

  • CAP assistance for Devoted Medical: Ensuring that DevMed business owners are held accountable for addressing non-compliance in a timely manner

  • Patient Safety Org Coordinator: Triaging and tracking of events that are reported to the patient safety committee; Gathering of insights and reporting from safety events, and sharing with other members of the patient safety committee; Global insight determination and action

  • State of Emergency Response and Coordination for Devoted Medical: Works closely with Director, Practice Operations and Dev Med COOs

  • Compliance Performance Index reporting

  • ”Complaint” Coordinator for Devoted Medical: Liaison with the health plan on grievances, and work with functional teams to address for Devoted Medical

  • Report out trends, and make recommendations on process improvements, etc

Required skills and experience:

  • 5+ year professional experience in Clinical or Medical Group Operations

  • Ability to work in a startup, fast-paced environment

  • Experience in reviewing regulatory information and its application to the business

  • Experience in estimating, planning, and executing large scale, time-sensitive initiatives

  • Track record of successfully managing queues, developing and implementing processes, and setting and achieving targets

Desired skills and experience:

  • 5+ years professional experience in Compliance Operations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Risk Management (or related field)

Salary range: ​$105,000 - $145,000 annually

Our ranges are purposefully broad to allow for growth within the role over time. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
