Strategic Partnerships Manager
Applicants to be located in: UK, Netherlands, Italy, Germany or Hungary
Are you passionate about Big Data and its capability to disrupt the status quo? At INRIX, we leverage movement data from hundreds of millions of connected cars and devices to transform the way transportation is managed. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for harnessing big data to step into the role of Strategic Partnerships Manager on our Business Development team. In this role you will develop and manage key strategic partnerships that will grow the company’s data and distribution ecosystems. You’ll bring your experience in partner management, partnering strategy, and deal development to forge impactful relationships with global automakers and large enterprises. You are a collaborative, commercially-minded individual skilled in managing complex business relationships. Your work will matter – you’ll directly contribute to the success of our fast growing SaaS business through acquiring and onboarding new data and content partners into our ecosystem.
INRIX’s Business Development team builds and manages INRIX’s partner ecosystem, working with supply partners of all types including mapping, mobile location data and connected car data -- to help bring INRIX's services to market. We are a highly cross-functional team, working with our colleagues in Sales, Legal, Marketing, and Product to develop strategic partnerships that ultimately help drive growth for the company.
At INRIX, our mission is to help the world solve transportation challenges in new unique ways. We are a company filled with people who are passionate about our customers and products that keep the world moving smarter, safer, and more efficiently. We harness an unmatched collection of historic and real-time global GPS data from connected cars, fleet vehicles, and mobile devices to provide unique SaaS applications for cities and enterprise corporations.
In this role, you will:
  • Develop INRIX’s overall European partnership strategy in collaboration with INRIX’s SVP of Business Development
  • Assume leadership of our existing network of EMEA partners to manage and develop these further.
  • Current partners include Mapping, Location Data, Automakers and Telematics Service Providers (TSP’s)
  • Identify, engage and close new partnerships in alignment with INRIX Strategy.
  • Collaborate with the INRIX Product team related to roadmap items to identify partner data requirements to support new INRIX products.
About you:
  • You have at least 6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred. At least 3 years of experience will be in partnership or business development roles.
  • Your business acumen and strategic mind-set make you a great partner manager. You develop and maintain empathetic and trust-building relationships with both external and internal partners. You have a track record of managing partnerships with proven business results.
  • You have experience in the transportation, automotive, mapping or location based services space as well as an understanding of how GPS technology works.
  • You have strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to drive new partnerships from discovery through contracting.
  • You enjoy thinking analytically - you won't be expected to write SQL queries, but you'll need to work effectively with your engineering peers when it comes to data.
  • International experience is a plus as we operate globally.
  • Applicants to be located in: UK, Netherlands, Italy, Germany or Hungary
Why INRIX?
  • Work with an amazing team with a focus on being the best and making the world a better place.
  • Solve complex real-world problems with big data.
  • Working with people that are passionate about what they do, have a can do attitude and love to get things done
  • Have the opportunity to make a big impact to both the company and our many customers across the region
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Competitive Salary
  • Employee stock option plan
