We are seeking a Project Manager in our Pleasanton location.
Summary
We are looking for a rockstar Project Manager to orchestrate innovation. You'll wrangle cross-functional teams and cutting-edge technology to bring groundbreaking products to life. Partner with the technical leads and executive sponsors to establish, manage, and report on priorities, risks, resources, and schedules. This is your opportunity to spearhead groundbreaking product development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as project manager for the development of synthetic biology derived products utilizing the Inscripta Genoscaler® platform.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the technical leads and executive sponsors to identify and tackle any technical hurdles that could stall progress. Together, you'll be a high functioning team, ensuring the project stays on track to achieve its goals.
- Be the project maestro. You'll collaborate with commercial teams, technical wizards, and leadership to manage a diverse mix of projects from initial concepts to commercial manufacturing, keeping everything moving smoothly.
- Develop rock-solid project plans, schedules, and risk management programs. You'll track progress for a multi-talented team and keep a watchful eye on stakeholder needs.
- Become a true problem-solver. Identify any conflicts in deadlines, priorities, or resources and find creative solutions to keep everything on track.
- Be the voice of the project. Present clear and concise updates on project and platform progress to company leadership, keeping everyone informed and on the same page.
- Leave your mark. Help refine Inscripta's product development processes, making them even more efficient and effective to meet the company's evolving needs.
- PhD in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, genetics, or chemical/bio engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience; M.S. or B.S. with equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in development of new products in biotech or life sciences is required.
- At least 2 years in a project management role is required.
- PMP certification desired.
- Demonstrated abilities to organize, plan, prioritize, and track complex, multidisciplinary development projects required.
- Strong interdepartmental communication skills (oral, listening, written, presentation) are required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience with biological processes technology transfer and contract manufacturing organizations.

Starting Salary Range: $ 135,000 - $151,000. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, education and experience level meeting the job requirements.
