- Oversee utilities and critical infrastructure systems (electrical, compressed air, network rooms, fire suppression, power redundancy) to ensure uptime, expansion planning, and reliability
- Establish and maintain standardized facility design templates for new sites to accelerate future expansion and ensure consistency
- Own permitting and regulatory approvals for specialized infrastructure at test/launch sites, including environmental permits and hazardous materials compliance

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and executive teams.
- Must meet U.S. export control requirements and have the ability to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. security clearance.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience overseeing facility buildouts—including design, planning, permitting, construction, and vendor/contractor management—for office, manufacturing, and test/launch environments.
- Experience overseeing facilities for rapidly scaling aerospace or defense organizations, particularly those with test, launch, or high‑hazard operations.
- Background managing physical security systems such as access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and secure‑facility protocols.
- Experience planning and operating multi‑site facilities networks, including remote sites or outdoor industrial/test environments.
- Experience with capital project planning, multi‑year facilities road mapping, and budgeting for large infrastructure programs.
- Experience implementing CMMS or other facilities management software tools to improve visibility and operational discipline.
- Knowledge of HVAC design, mechanical/electrical systems, utilities planning, and high‑reliability infrastructure.
