About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Licensed Mental Health Professional with a passion for training and supervision to serve as Clinical Manager for Coaching for Parents program, which is an expansion of our core Mental Health Coaching program. Our specially trained coaches work with a suite of proprietary CBT-based digital tools to promote emotional wellness and provide targeted parent education based in Behavioral Parent Training (BPT). Our program is unique and unparalleled. We have published multiple research studies demonstrating our stellar outcomes, including with moderate depression and anxiety, and are actively working on additional publications.
Supported by the members of our coach supervision and operations teams, and reporting to the Clinical Director, you will be tasked with further developing and scaling our Coaching for Parents program. You will also ensure the overall clinical quality of the program, lead clinical policy decision making, and translate evidence based practice to coaching. This includes designing and revising our coach training, leading quality assurance efforts, providing clinical consultation to coaches, providing continuing education and training, and overall quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Licensed Masters or Doctoral level mental health clinician
- 6-8 years post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in academic or VA setting
- Extensive clinical training and experience with evidence-based treatments for child mental health, especially disruptive behavior disorders/externalizing symptoms - specifically Behavioral Parent Training, Parent Management Training, or related approaches (e.g. PCIT, PPP, Incredible Years, etc)
- Extensive experience with other evidence-based treatments, specifically Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as CBT, DBT, ERP, etc.
- Experience with clinical supervision, teaching and/or training
- Clinical approach that is strongly rooted in cultural responsivity and an anti-oppressive framework
- Must be passionate about the role of training coaches
- Fluent with technology
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment - we move quickly to evolve tools and protocols based on data so we need people who are comfortable with constant change, feedback, and improvement
- Independent, open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate and flexible
- Excellent interpersonal skills (communication and listening)
- Excellent writing skills
Qualifications
- Coaching certification and/or training
- Quality assurance and/or clinical research background
- Experience with clinical decision making at program level
