Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Hybrid & Vienna, Austria

Company Overview:

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage our IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical devices, strong experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred), and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements including ISO27001 and ISO 62304, GDPR and HIPAA. This role requires fluency in English mandatory and German preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting System Development:

- Lead the selection process for a suitable business information system

- Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive reporting system to support business intelligence and decision-making.

- Collaborate with various departments to understand reporting needs and ensure accurate data collection and analysis.

2. Compliance Management:

- Take ownership of ISO27001,GDPR and HIPAA compliance to ensure all IT systems and processes meet regulatory requirements.

- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.

3. External IT Service Provider Management:

- Manage relationships with external IT service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.

- Oversee vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets related to external IT services.

4. CRM/ERP System Management:

- Lead the implementation, customization, and maintenance of the Odoo ERP system and Zoho CRM system.

- Provide training and support to staff to ensure effective use of the CRM/ERP systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CRM/ERP systems.

5. IT Infrastructure Management:

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.

- Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems, including data backup and disaster recovery plans.

- Implement and manage IT policies and procedures to support efficient and secure operations.

6. Team Collaboration and Support:

- Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

- Provide technical support and guidance to staff, ensuring prompt resolution of IT issues.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, preferably within the medical device industry.

- Strong understanding of GDPR and HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.

- Experience with ERP systems, with a preference for Odoo.

- Experienced in building reports and dashboards in BI systems (Tableau, AWS insights,...)

- Fluency in English is mandatory and German is preferred.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- basic programming or code analysis capabilities will be an advantage

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
