As an Associate Financial Advisor – Advisory Services Outbound, you will be proactively reaching out to Empower’s plan participants with the goal to educate them on new campaigns and delivering services through our advanced tools and technology. Advisory Services is part of Empower Personal Wealth’s Financial Wellness, Planning and Advisory Services team. This is a growing team, serving over 1 million customers.

A successful Associate Advisor will quickly and effectively deliver conversations with clients regarding their questions about their Retirement Readiness and addressing any needs or concerns, working to enroll them in our Advisory Services and often referring them to other teams in the company.

What you will do

  • Support managed account campaigns from an outbound call perspective with the goal of educating participants.
  • Identify, execute and follow up on opportunities to contract additional client assets while providing client retirement planning discussions. Identify trends and determine proactive solutions to maximize service quality and increase assets under management.
  • Adhere to compliance/risk procedures and exhibit detailed attention to policy and procedures by focusing on the participant’s best interest.
  • Document information from conversations in with clients pertinent to business and relationship development to be referenced for follow- up calls.
  • Perform aspects of financial planning for customer.
  • Trade equities, bonds, options, and ETF’s (among others) in this dual registered role.
  • Facilitate withdrawals and transfers of assets into taxable accounts and brokerage IRA’s.
  • Act in a dually registered capacity when speaking to Advisory clients and Empower Retail clients.
  • Enroll participants in the managed account offering in the Empower Retail account.
What you will bring
  • 2 years Financial Industry Experience.
  • Must be general securities licensed to open Brokerage IRA’s and Taxable Retail accounts and perform trading in both accounts.
  • REGISTRATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSING REQUIRED: FINRA 7, 65, & 63 registrations required within corporate-established timelines.
  • FINRA fingerprinting required.
  • Goals and results oriented with high level of accountability to produce positive results that directly correlate to retention and increasing assets under management and participant growth for managed accounts.
  • Must be available to work during hours of 8 am to 8 PM ET (actual schedule will be determined by business need, but we will try to schedule you for normal works hours in your time zone).

What will set you apart

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Fully licensed candidates are preferred.
  • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) Designation preferred.
  • Bring a positive attitude, ability to converse with clients and be open to coaching and feedback.

Base Salary Range

$58,500.00 - $72,000.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
