The Fees & Billing Specialist is responsible for performing complex manual billing calculations and reconciliations for some of the organizations most complicated clients.

What you will do

  • Quality control functions such as reviewing completed Great-West Connect Service Requests, tracking errors and updating procedures.

  • Trains new employees and trains existing team members on new products, processes and procedures as requested.

  • Assists in coordinating, testing and implementing new products, plans and recordkeeping system enhancements.

  • Regularly reviews and maintains various system generated reports as required by SSAE 16 and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

  • May act as back up for other Operations Analysts or Coordinators as workload requires.

  • Other tasks and projects as needed.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred (Accounting or Finance ideal).

  • Five (5) years of related work experience preferred.

  • Two (2) years of experience of industry experience preferred MS Office skills and intermediate excel skills preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Results orientated with ability to effectively handle multiple tasks/work responsibilities at the same time.

  • Excellent proactive communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.

  • Strong problem resolution skills and understanding of when to escalate a matter.

  • Ability to work within prescribed deadlines and in a team environment.

  • Using established procedures and working under immediate to general supervision, performs assigned tasks.

  • Financial risk and exposure if transactions are processed incorrectly.

  • Professional office environment and regular use of general office equipment such as computers and phones.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to type, reach with hands and arms, sit for long periods of time, read and write, listen, verbally communicate, concentrate, and follow direction.
