The Lead Full Stack Engineer is an intermediate technical leadership role responsible for helping the team set the tone with following the approved architecture and producing solutions and design considerations for the development, maintenance, and improvement of software applications. The role will also establish best practices in software development, coding, code-review, testing, and problem-solving. This role will be expected to deliver complex pieces of deliverables for a project.

Essential Functions:

• Design and build applications and provide designers with feedback and suggest trade-offs when required

• Ensure the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards

• Work closely with other developers to understand and properly use the systems APIs

• Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks

• Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions

• Help and mentor other members of the team

• Build in the following coding languages: Angular, Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, JUnit, Mocking framework such as Mockito

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Experience:

• A minimum of 7+ years of object-oriented design/development required.

• The Lead Full Stack Engineer must have experience in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, JUnit, Mocking framework such as Mockito.

• Experience of front-end technologies with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX & responsive design.

• Understanding of APIs and how to use them in practice

• Experience with continuous integration tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins and Confluence

• Knowledge & experience with UI testing, unit testing and test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Jasmine, etc.

• Experience with Kubernetes & cloud-based platforms (Google or AWS)

• Understanding and flexibility in working in an Agile environment.
