The Analyst Data Analytics, support Canada Operations by developing and maintaining analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This includes building dashboards and reports, managing data pipelines, and creating documentation to support analytics processes. The role involves working with large datasets, collaborating with business partners, and delivering insights that improve operational performance and support strategic goals.
Essential Functions:
Deliver actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across Canada Operations.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that enable performance monitoring and business visibility.
Manage and optimize data pipelines to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent data delivery.
Create and maintain documentation to support analytics solutions, including process guides, data dictionaries, and technical references.
Translate business needs into data and analytics requirements to guide solution development.
Collaborate with business partners and senior leaders to align analytics outputs with evolving priorities and goals.
Support the full analytics lifecycle—from intake and ideation to implementation and delivery—ensuring quality and usability.
Contribute to the ideation and implementation of new analytics initiatives.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear, visual, and simplified manner to stakeholders at various levels.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
A master’s degree is preferred for senior-level responsibilities.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
Required Experience:
Analyst: 1–3 years of experience in data analytics field.
Skills/Characteristics:
Strong experience in working with data analytics tools (SQL, Python), Databases (SQL Server), Cloud (Azure, Databricks), data visualization tools (Power BI) with demonstrated experience at creating interactive dashboards.
Ability to write complex and efficient SQL and Python queries to extract, integrate and transform data from multiple sources and automate data pipelines.
Advanced skills in Power BI, Data Modeling, Power Query, and Dax
Strong experience working with raw data and manipulating large datasets.
Subject matter expertise in data analytics and statistical modelling
Polished communication and presentation skills to audiences including senior leadership.
Strong analytical skills for problem solving and to monetize value for the organization.
Ability to work with little to no documentation or instruction.
Think outside the box and identify solutions to overcome obstacles.
Proven ability to learn and handle multiple priorities in a challenging work environment.
Experience within the Financial Services sector would be an asset.
