Job Summary
Mgr Resolution is responsible for Direct supervision, facilitation and development of Resolution department.
Ensures all areas are in compliance with regulations and policies and is responsible for the operations including customization and implementation of operational and departmental procedures.
Supports the controls of departmental budget, quality, time and service standards and staff development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
On a daily basis manage and load balance incoming transaction requests and AR tickets, and escalated/complex research items, problem solving, and monitoring of gain/loss. Ensure all areas are in compliance with SEC, FINRA, IRS, Department of Labor, Departmental and Corporate regulations and policies.
Provides supervision, training, motivation and personal development of staff to maximize the departments resources. Includes interviewing/ hiring new personnel, conducting performance appraisals, and taking necessary disciplinary action. Maintain employee records, track quality and productivity. Monitor trends, maintain employee records and report findings to management.
Responsible for review, updates and communication in regards to processing documentation and procedures. Correspond with internal/external clients and/or participants, upper management, and agent/brokers. Involves a thorough understanding of all products, IRS Codes, plan rules, SEC/FINRA regulations and ability to communicate the complex aspects of the situation.
Monitor control reports, gain/loss, suspense accounts and tax form research, corrections and clearing, monitor trends, and report findings to management.
Responsible for assigned projects. This involves coordination of system resources, delegation and monitoring of progress to completion, including the user acceptance testing, updating procedure guides and training.

EXPERIENCE: 10 - 12 Years of experience
SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS:
7-10 years of experience in 401K retirement domain
Basic knowledge of Six Sigma tools & concepts preferred
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Access.
Must possess strong management, project prioritization, analytical/problem-solving, organizational, presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
Excellent in planning and prioritizing
Working knowledge of retirement industry and internal record keeping system
