As part of its service, Empower Retirement provides benchmarking information to its B2B clients in standardized format. The information is used by clients to compare their fees and services against various market benchmarks. These reports are created using variety of internal data and requires some calculations and attention to detail, to ensure accuracy.

The role would involve creating these reports as well as working on RFIs for existing clients, which are highly customized and require gathering information and data points from internal sources.

The role would also involve communicating and coordinating with client relationship managers and SMEs to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables.

This role is part of the RFP team and would serve as a steppingstone to more complex RFP writing for ongoing deals. The analyst would have an opportunity to get trained from internal experts and also get relevant external certifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Utilized customer data to provide benchmarking information
  • Collaborate with client relationship managers
  • Multi-task, prioritize and problem-solve while using simple judgment and defined procedures to effectively resolve straightforward situations.
  • Clearly articulate challenges through verbal and written communication to build consensus with business partners
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Enthusiasm to learn and work on various tools
  • Update maintain internal process documentation
  • Update internal tracking systems for reporting
  • Help other team members with their queries/ questions related to tools, products, responses, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA/ BBA
  • 1-3 years of experience in RFP/ pre-sales
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to think critically and draw from several resources to create simple, unified, persuasive output
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Good to have: Qvidian and understanding of investment and retirement terminology
