🛠 Role Overview
Our Rarible API Protocol serves as a comprehensive toolkit for web3 developers, enabling them to craft rich NFT applications, trade NFTs safely, and garner consistent data about NFTs. As our Tech Lead, you'll spearhead the development of backend services, indexing data from the blockchain and external sources into our internal database.
The challenge: Ensure the security and scalability of our API while meeting all SLAs, SLOs, and surpassing our competitors.
Tech stack is: Kotlin, Spring, MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, Elastic Search.
** Ideally this person would be open to hybrid working at our office in Lisbon, but we are also open to candidates in Europe who wish to work remotely**
💼 What's On Your Plate?
- Design: Take the reins in designing the core Protocol service components.
- Develop: Design and implement core features that align with the business requirements.
- Optimize: Supervise and refine our existing systems for peak performance.
- Monitor: Keep a vigilant eye on systems, identifying potential hitches and addressing them proactively.
- Promote: Champion the very best in technology and software development practices.
- Review: Conduct code reviews to maintain the quality and ensure best practices.
- Architect: Play a pivotal role in sculpting the API structure.

- Micro Mastery: A profound understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Code Savvy: Expertise in Kotlin (Java) for crafting microservices.
- Tech Tools: Experience with MongoDB and Kafka.
- API Artistry: Demonstrated experience in building robust, scalable, and customer-centric APIs.
