About the role

AI is central to ReadyOn’s vision to transform how companies hire, schedule, and manage their workforce. Managers today spend a significant part of their day overseeing and completing highly repetitive and tedious tasks that prevent them from focusing on more crucial work. With the emergence of AI and agentic workflows, we’re in a unique position to not just improve the status quo but redefine it.

We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead our core AI experiences. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the strategy, design, and vision for how to utilize emerging technology and agentic workflows across the product. This encompasses everything from how ReadyOn handles human-in-the-loop interactions to completely autonomous workflows for hundreds of agents across hiring, scheduling, and managing the world's largest workforces.

Reporting to the Head of Design, you'll work hand-in-hand with our product and engineering teams to shape the user experience from 0 to 1. This role is highly autonomous and hands-on, requiring a strong individual contributor who can create a compelling product vision, execute quickly and help define product direction, and discern when to do each.

What you’ll do

• Partner with product and engineering to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for the AI, Foundations and Insights roadmap
• Design comprehensive and polished end-to-end experiences for both broadly defined, ambiguous concepts as well as tactical features
• Drive user research efforts in partnership with product, conducting interviews, usability testing, and leveraging analytics to inform decisions
• Consider all aspects of an experience while designing, from copy to core functionality to business impact
• Utilize and raise the standard of ReadyOn’s design system, focusing on defining and integrating AI patterns and best practices
• Stay informed of current and emerging technology and identify opportunities to incorporate into the ReadyOn platform

What we’re looking for

• An online portfolio that demonstrates strong visual and interaction design skills
• 7+ years of product design experience, preferably at a SaaS or consumer technology company
• Experience and a passion for building full 0-1 products
• Experience navigating ambiguity and iterating rapidly based on user insights, data, and business needs to arrive at a solution
• The ability to clearly articulate your work, process, and decisions, and actively seek feedback to elevate the quality of what you create
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Experience ideating, building, and prototyping with AI tools

Nice to have

• Experience with insights or data heavy products
• Experience designing for agentic AI
