Position Overview
This role is part of the Global Operations Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager – Operations, this Financial Analyst role will be responsible for providing support to the Santa Clara Operations and Facilities Organizations. This role is results-driven and provides business partner support to create transparency for key spending, milestones, and KPIs while enabling smooth integration into J&J systems and processes.
Essential Job Functions
Lead the process for accomplishing rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range forecasts for Santa Clara Operations and Facilities.
Provide support to senior business leaders with actuals, analyze variance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to drive forecast execution, accuracy, and actionable recommendations to senior management.
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to plan and execute initiatives.
Perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities, including preparation of accruals, variance analysis, reporting, and audit support.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Minimum 1-3 years of accounting, finance, or related business experience is required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proven ability to work independently while appropriately planning, prioritizing, and communicating progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with planning software such as Adaptive or Anaplan
Understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal customers

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$62,000.00 - $100,050.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
