The Physician Recruiter is a critical role at Sitka. You will manage the day-to-day recruitment efforts for the Sitka Medical Associates medical group, while fulfilling the organization’s near- and long-term recruitment strategy. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing virtual candidates across multiple specialties to fulfill both contracted (1099) and FTE vacancies. The recruiter will work with the operational leadership team to track performance, update/route provider contracts, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, manage the pipeline and onboarding process, and implement continuous improvement plans. This position has high earning potential based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full cycle recruitment of physicians across the organization’s national multispecialty medical practice
  • Leads all initial outreach, communication, interviews, screens, and clinical case studies as part of the onboarding process
  • Collaborate with Sitka Medical Associates leadership to identify and develop near- and long-range physician recruitment strategies
  • Oversee the interview process with qualified candidates
  • Maintain and updates job postings across all third-party platforms
  • Maintain accurate candidate status, contact information, qualifications, CV, notes, and other pertinent information
  • Leverage subject-matter expertise in order to evaluate available recruiting tools and to inform the recruitment budget
  • Oversee and report out on recruitment performance metrics
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, ensuring candidates are on track to meet pre-employment requirements and target start dates
  • Lead the onboarding process, which includes background and reference checks, credentialing, platform access, and other requirements as necessary
  • Identify challenges in the onboarding process and make recommendations for process improvements

Experience and Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience recruiting physicians with particular weight given to multispecialty recruitment across all of the major sub-specialties on telehealth platforms
  • Provider contracts
  • Detail-oriented multitasker
  • Excellent communication skills including clear written communication, and the ability to effectively interact with all members of the provider network, internal, and executive teams
  • Experience developing presentations and materials with a clinical audience in mind
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment a plus
  • Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Motivated self-starter with a desire to grow with an evolving team and company
