As the Senior Product Manager for Activation, you will be responsible for accelerating Virta’s growth by shaping prospective members’ first impression of onboarding to our innovative metabolic health program. This role is both high-visibility and high-impact; the decisions you make and the product experiences you create will significantly shape our members' onramp, fueling growth in both revenue and the number of members transforming their lives with Virta.
Drive Member Growth: accountable for strong improvement in our member enrollment and onboarding experiences to generate top line growth
Member Activation Strategy: define and implement initiatives to engage, enroll, and activate members to our metabolic health program
Activation Experimentation: partnering with your high caliber team comprised of design, engineers, and data scientists, identify and launch product conversion experiments, continuously optimizing
Cross-Functional Execution: translate your strategy into clear goals, priorities, and plans; motivate and coordinate for strong execution across your product development team and cross-functional partners
User Discovery: develop a deep understanding of our prospective members’ unmet needs and pain points through quantitative and qualitative research
90 Day Plan
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
Connect with and establish strong relationships across your product development team (engineering, design, analytics) and cross-functional partners (enrollment operations, growth marketing, content, clinicians)
Launch one new product initiative to improve member activation
Steer and contribute to discovery and quantitative analysis; leveraging those insights, begin to set the strategy and roadmap for your product development team
Develop a strong understanding of our north star metrics at Virta, and formulate the appropriate metrics for your team in partnership with leadership
5+ years of experience in a product management, general management, or related product development roles
Passion in using technology for social impact
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to quickly build trust and generate a shared vision
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
Experience shipping consumer-facing applications

As part of your duties at Virta, you may come in contact with sensitive patient information that is governed by HIPAA. Throughout your career at Virta, you will be expected to follow Virta's security and privacy procedures to ensure our patients' information remains strictly confidential. Security and privacy training will be provided.
Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
