JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is responsible for providing business and financial guidance to TriNet's management team through various planning and analysis activities. The person in this position provides financial and operational analytics, budgeting and forecasting, trend analysis, business insights, qualitative assessment of risks and opportunities, and recommendations based on advanced financial analysis. This is an individual contributor role.

Essential Duties/Responsibilites

Report on actual financial results against targets, provide analysis of forecast variances, and assist in guidance on future trends

Review accruals and/or reclasses each month to determine accuracy and inform accounting of any changes

Review monthly headcount and ensure accuracy in headcount forecast (including opening net new requisitions, backfill requisitions, and maintaining accuracy of existing headcount)

Prepare monthly management reporting that compares plan and/or forecast vs. actuals

Prepare annual targets and develop updated forecasts based upon ongoing business performance and predictive financial models

Assist with preparation of Quarterly Business Review materials covering KPI’s and quarterly projections vs Plan and forecast.

Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects and report preparation as identified by management team
