Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, technically adept, and process-oriented Technical Program Manager – Automation to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives that automate and optimize workflows across customer and partner operations. You will play a key role in streamlining internal systems, building integrations between platforms, and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable technical operations. This is a cross-functional role requiring collaboration with Product, Engineering and Customer Engineering teams to understand operational challenges, design technical solutions, and drive implementation end-to-end.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems integration, scripting or API-based automation, and SaaS operations. You are passionate about reducing manual overhead, improving customer experiences, and applying technology to solve real-world business problems. You will have a unique opportunity to define how our operational tech stack evolves and help shape our automation strategy to support scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of automation initiatives that enhance internal workflows across customer success, partner onboarding, support, and technical operations.
  • Identify, prioritize, and scope automation opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and enable self-service.
  • Work with APIs, cloud services, and scripting tools to implement integrations and workflow automations between internal systems (e.g., Salesforce, Sharepoint, Slack, JIRA, internal admin tools).
  • Partner with Customer Engineering, Engineering, and Product to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage delivery of automation projects.
  • Own project planning and execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring clear documentation, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive standardization of operational processes and help scale technical infrastructure to support customer and partner growth.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on automation effectiveness and impact, using data to guide future improvements.
  • Coordinate feature rollout starting with early adopter customers through full rollout including field coordination.
  • Coordinate customer migrations as required.
  • Stay current with relevant SaaS, DevOps, and automation trends and apply industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technical program management, systems integration, DevOps, or automation roles within SaaS or cybersecurity environments.
  • Proficient with scripting and integration tools such as PowerShell, Python, Node.js, or similar.
  • Experience designing and deploying automations via REST APIs, webhooks, or workflow platforms (e.g., Logic Apps, Zapier, Workato).
  • Strong understanding of SaaS operations, customer lifecycle, and support systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with IT security concepts and protocols is a plus.
