What You'll Do:

  • Plan and execute platform and translational in vivo studies using kelonia’s novel LVV gene delivery technologyin collaboration with research scientists
  • Perform in vivo studies including drug administration and assessing in vivo pharmacology
  • Help innovate novel animal models, including pilot studies for model development, model characterization and preclinical research
  • Record and analyze data using software including Excel, GraphPad Prism and electronic lab notebook
  • Prepare and present data and interpretations to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Help draft technical reports that document in vivo studies
  • Opportunity to train on and perform ex vivo tissue processing

What You'll Bring:

  • BS or MS in biology or related field with 2+ years of academic or industry experience(level based on experience)
  • Experience in animal handling and drug administration including i.v./i.p./s.c. dosing
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Attentive to detail and diligent in maintaining a laboratory notebook and following written protocols
  • Adaptable problem solver with a get-it-done attitude
  • Experience with in-study blood sampling, IVIS imaging, necropsy & tissue harvest is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and prioritize and flexibly balance multiple workstreams
