What You Will Do:
- Address and resolve employee relations issues by providing coaching and guidance to both management and staff.
- Collaborate with function heads on restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
- Craft and implement strategies to enhance team member engagement, retention, and development.
- Partner with the Head of HR to identify talent needs and participate in the recruitment of key positions.
- Present HR initiatives confidently to the organization, fostering understanding and support.
- Facilitate confidential and sensitive discussions between managers and employees with professionalism.
- Act as a coach, partner, and confidant to employees at all levels.
- Work with the HR team to design and execute talent development programs that reinforce company values.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and maintaining policy compliance.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in employee retention, morale, recognition, and productivity.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of HR experience, including 3-5 years as an HR Business Partner.
- Understanding of the biopharmaceutical sector, with a preference for biotech experience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with the HR team on talent and culture initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and achieve goals efficiently.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop data-driven solutions to HR challenges.
- Confidently negotiate and influence others using logical and data-backed arguments. Skilled at finding “win-win” outcomes.
- Exhibit credibility, integrity, and trustworthiness. Thrive in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.
- Handle complex employee relations issues with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Strong communication skills, coupled with a passion for learning, self-motivation, and self-awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
