Job Title: Vice President, Pharma Solutions
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Pharma Solutions is a quota-carrying executive responsible for leading the commercial growth strategy across hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and specialty pharmacy markets. In this role, you will drive revenue generation, expand market share, and develop high-value partnerships that position our organization as a leading provider of innovative pharmaceutical solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, R&D, Operations, and Finance to shape solution offerings that meet customer needs and fuel long-term growth.
This position requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader with deep industry knowledge, strong sales acumen, and the proven ability to deliver results in a fast-moving, highly regulated market.
Essential Functions:
Commercial & Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a clear commercial strategy aligned with company growth objectives across hospital, retail, and specialty pharmacy sectors.
  • Own and deliver revenue targets, sales forecasts, and market expansion goals.
  • Identify emerging growth opportunities, customer challenges, and competitive dynamics to shape winning commercial strategies.
Pharma Solutions Development
  • Work closely with Product, R&D, and Marketing to design and refine pharmacy solutions that address market needs and drive sales success.
  • Translate customer and market insights into compelling solution offerings and value propositions.
  • Guide commercialization plans to ensure solutions are positioned for maximum market impact.
Market Expansion & Partnerships
  • Build, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with healthcare systems, pharmacy networks, specialty providers, and industry organizations.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities that unlock scalable revenue streams.
  • Serve as an executive-level advocate for clients, building long-term relationships that drive loyalty and growth.
Sales Leadership & Execution
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on enterprise-level pharmacy customers.
  • Set performance standards, pipeline expectations, and accountability frameworks to ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Support key strategic deals by engaging directly with executive decision-makers and facilitating solution alignment.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
  • Maintain a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and ensure all offerings, partnerships, and sales activities adhere to compliance and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are commercially viable while meeting regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing to refine segmentation, go-to-market campaigns, and demand-generation initiatives that support aggressive growth targets.
  • Collaborate with Product and R&D to guide product roadmaps based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Work with Finance to establish pricing strategies, financial models, and revenue forecasts.
Performance Metrics & Business Analysis
  • Define KPIs and sales metrics that measure growth, profitability, customer engagement, and market penetration.
  • Use analytics and market intelligence to continuously refine strategies and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and executive forums to elevate brand visibility and generate new growth opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies, health system leaders, industry partners, and key customer stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
  • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on commercial growth, sales leadership, or business development.
  • Demonstrated success carrying a quota and leading sales teams that consistently achieve revenue targets.
  • Deep knowledge of hospital, retail, and/or specialty pharmacy operations, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and lead complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market needs into scalable commercial solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving industry with shifting customer and regulatory requirements.
  • A visionary leader with a passion for advancing pharmaceutical innovation and improving patient care.
Education: Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Extensive experience (7+ years) in senior leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical solutions.
